Supplemental IT Funding
The Division of Student Affairs (DSA), Department of Information Technology has committed to allocating annual funds to support supplemental funding for IT-related needs by departments in DSA. This funding is designed to be used to help departments with a specific one-time cost for a need or opportunity that cannot be covered by their current operating budgets or funding request processes.
Examples of potential requests may include:
• One-time start-up costs for an IT related project
• Assistance with covering costs of an unexpected, required software or hardware upgrade
• One-time funding for student assistant wages for a short-term project/task need
This funding is not intended to be used for regular on-going costs of software licensing and hardware that should be planned for in the department’s annual budget.
Requests may be initiated by any full-time DSA staff member with support from their Department IT Liaison and/or Department Director.
