Job Description: IT for the Division of Student Affairs is looking to fill a part-time application developer Graduate Assistant (Non-Teaching) position. This position will provide assistance to full-time software application developers in the development of custom PHP applications.
Duties: Work closely with architects, senior developers, business analysts and development teams for design, development, testing, implementation, and support of application projects. Perform detailed application design, coding and unit/integration/performance testing.

Job Description: The Department of Information Technology Communication Coordinator serves as a digital content creator for social media, email, and print. They are a creative focal point for the department. This position will work closely with the BRM team to design and maintain a website that is useful to the Division of Student Affairs (DSA) and provide training and informational content for the DSA. It will also act as a significant channel of communication between Technology Services – Student Affairs and DSA and the University at large.

Job Description: Looking for a successful applicant with a customer service mindset. Able to work in a team environment to provide support for Windows 10, and Mac computers. This involves answering the phone to troubleshoot computer issues, performing hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance, assisting with special projects and general service desk duties. Please note this is a student worker position. A graduate assistant-ship is not available.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will have a customer service mindset and be able to handle issues and concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Some knowledge of hardware, troubleshooting, Microsoft Office, and Windows 10 required.

The Administrative Graduate Assistant Non-Teaching serves as a support position to the Department of Information Technology’s administrative team within the Division of Student Affairs. This position’s day-to-day work requires verbal and written communication, teamwork, problem solving, organization, and professionalism.
This position acts as the primary support in designing and implementing the Student Professional IT Experience (SPRITE), a career readiness program of professional IT experiences for students considering a career in IT, and alternative paths for those pursuing other fields. The program will provide student workers and graduate assistants (GA’s) with an environment to learn professional IT competencies and soft skills tailored to fit the student’s area of interest. Duties include assisting in developing and implementing an assessment model, building templates and surveys for assessment reporting, working with the department staff to develop learning outcomes and assessment strategies, and other related tasks as needed.
Job Duties:
Assist with the daily functions related to designing and implementing the Sprite Program, including coordinating and attending meetings, identifying resources, and developing and delivering documentation and materials
Serve as the point of contact for the Planning Committee as well as other stakeholders to answer questions, disseminate and explain information
Assist in design program events, activities, and exercises (including sequencing and timing) while also ensuring that learning is relevant, business-minded, and engaging for participants
Proactively following through on all Planning Committee assigned tasks
Assist staff with implementing the program, which includes but is not limited to assisting with activities preparation, checking in students and monitoring the activities, and writing reports
Organize program physical and digital resources
Assist in maintaining all tracking, notes, and records for every phase of the program, including design and implementation, updating student records database, updating related policies and manuals, and ensuring the overall maintenance of the program documentation
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Texas A&M University – College Station. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and six semester credit hours for the summer semester)
Must be in good academic standing
Must be available during the Fall 2021 term
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer prior experience with designing and planning programs, human resource development, student learning assessment, or other related areas
Prefer prior experience working for an IT organization
