Making the Most of Spreadsheets

Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool for creating spreadsheets and calculations. The power of Microsoft Excel is often underrated, and its ability to work with other programs is excellent. Excel has its place working with Outlook email backups, Automatically generating diagrams in Visio and many other places that the data in an Excel sheet can be used.

If you’re new to Texas A&M, get started by logging in to A&M’s Microsoft 365 Gateway where you have access to the web versions of all the 365 apps available through Texas A&M.

If you don’t have a lot of time, Microsoft has a series of instructional videos categorized into short courses on Microsoft Excel. Each course is usually less than 30 minutes, with each video ranging from 1 to 5 minutes. Convenient for learning on the go!

If you’re wanting to get to know Microsoft Excel in-depth, we have collected a series of video courses ranging from about 30 minutes up to 2 and half hours on each subject.
