Different Versions of Power BI

Power BI consists of several versions. While they have different layers of functionalities, they all work together to provide a wide, comprehensive suite of advance business analytics and reporting.

Power BI Desktop – A Windows desktop application. Visualize data through a free-form drag-and-drop canvas, a broad range of modern data visualizations, and an easy-to-use report authoring experience.

Power BI Service – An online SaaS (Software as a Service) service. Build and edit reports based on the existing data model. Collaborate with co-workers through live reports and dashboards.

Mobile Apps – Power BI for Windows, iOS, and Android mobile devices. Access data anywhere, anytime. These native apps provide live, interactive, mobile access to your important business information.
